The annual meeting of the CCE-DART European project was held in Stockholm on 2 and 3 May, hosted at Karolinska Institutet. The project funded by the H2020 Research and Innovation Program, aims to improve the design of clinical trials in Precision Oncology by incorporating a series of digital tools and statistical methods that ultimately grant greater efficiency in the development and approval of new drugs.
In collaboration with Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori (INT) and Cancer Core Europe (CCE) research partners, DataRiver has developed innovative digital tools for improving patient engagement, patient support and patient participation in clinical trials.
The CCE-DART digital tools allows to collect electronic informed consent in clinical trials, and will enable potential trials’s participants and their caregivers to share information, documents, multimedia, through a secure two-way communication between patients and medical staff.
